A Delray Beach man threatened to shoot up his female relative's house after she reported to police that he pointed a gun at her and threatened to kill her the day before, according to a Delray Beach police arrest report.
The threats happened Nov. 19 as a woman told police that Shadd Dorsett, 23, came into a home in the 100 block of Southwest 10th Avenue where they both live and demanded all his missing jewelry and money.
As Dorsett ransacked the home, he pulled out a gun, pointed it at the woman and said, "I will kill everyone in the house if you call the police and it will be a massacre," according to the report.
Despite his threat, the woman called police, according to the report.
The woman said Dorsett then called her mother the next day and told her to give the woman a message stating, "If she didn't recant her statement, he was going to shoot up [her] house later tonight," an officer wrote in the report.
