A dodge Viper driver fractured both his legs after crashing into a tree Saturday, Boca Raton police said.
The crash happened at 8:12 p.m. in the 3700 block of Northwest Sixth Way, south of Spanish River Boulevard.
Police said Patrick James, 50, of Boynton Beach, was driving north when he went into the southbound lanes to pass another vehicle. Southbound traffic forced James back into the northbound lanes where he lost control and hit a tree.
Garrett Milanovich, an EMT student, said he was on his couch at the time of the crash.
"I heard a loud crash and ran downstairs to find a car 10 feet from my front door smashed into a tree," Milanovich said. Read more here: http://www.sun-sentinel.com/local/palm-beach/boca-raton/fl-boca-viper-crash-brief-20141103-story.html
